We wanted one night in Aruba to feel like a film. So we stopped sending food, and started sending a chef, a fire, and a country.
THE ORIGIN
Aruba Supper Club began with a simple belief: the best dinner on this island is the one made from what the island gave us that day.
So we built our kitchen around the people who bring it to us. Our fishermen come in off the water in the morning and tell us what they caught, not what we ordered. Our farmers bring what the season decided to give. We cook from there. Some nights that means wahoo; some nights it means something we didn't plan for. We think that's the point.
Nothing sits in a freezer waiting for a menu to catch up. What's on your plate was in the sea or in the soil a few hours ago, and the person who brought it to us is someone we know by name. That's the whole idea, a table where Aruba shows up as itself.
THE PHILOSOPHY
Performance
The chef is a performer. Fire, carving, flame, pour, narration. Guests watch, smell, participate.
Intimacy
Private villa, small group, unhurried. Luxury here is proximity to the maker, not distance from the kitchen.
Culture, honored
Every format is led by a chef from that culture. We don't fake cuisines.
Island warmth
This is Aruba, not Geneva. Bare feet, linen, candlelight, laughter, breeze. Never stiff.
PLAN YOUR NIGHT
When should we bring the evening to you?
We reply within four hours. From a real person.
